It is with profound sorrow and gentle reverence that we remember Eleanor Bean Bushnell, affectionately known as Ellie Bean, Ellie Belly, Sunshine, and many other loving nicknames that reflected the deep affection surrounding her from the very beginning of her life. Though her time on earth was brief, her presence brought immeasurable love, meaning, and connection to her family and all who welcomed her story.
Born on January 29, 2026, to Braden and Madison, Eleanor entered the world six weeks early, already showing the strength and determination that would define her short but deeply meaningful journey. Her early arrival led her through the care of the NICU in Austin, where she received dedicated medical support. On Valentine’s Day 2026, she was released into the arms of her family—a moment described as one of the purest joy and relief, a gift of love returned to those who had waited patiently for her homecoming.
Eleanor’s days were filled with warmth, comfort, and closeness. She knew the love of her parents and the gentle presence of her big sister, Ottie Jo, who shared in her early life with tenderness and care. She found joy in simple, beautiful moments—being held in her mother’s arms, listening to the world around her, and experiencing the comfort of family voices and touch.
Her family remembers her sweet personality through the little things she enjoyed: watching colorful animations, spending quiet moments with her favorite toys, and resting peacefully in the care of those who loved her most. Even in her brief time, she created memories that will be treasured forever—memories not measured in years, but in love.
On May 15, 2026, Eleanor was lovingly welcomed into Heaven, where her family believes she is held in peace and surrounded by love. Her passing has left a deep void, but also a lasting legacy of connection, tenderness, and unity within her family.
She is survived by her loving parents, Braden and Madison, and her big sister Ottie Jo, along with extended family who cherished her deeply. She was preceded in death by beloved relatives who now, in faith and memory, are believed to be with her.
The family’s request for donations to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas reflects Eleanor’s journey and the compassion they wish to extend in her honor.
Though her time was brief, Eleanor Bean Bushnell will be remembered always as a deeply loved child whose life, however short, was filled with immeasurable love and meaning.
