When officers arrived at the scene outside an apartment complex parking lot, they discovered an adult male and an adult female suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite these efforts, the male victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The female victim was transported to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment but later succumbed to her injuries.
